As we are a breeding barn, we do not offer boarding. However, we offer many other breeding services and we usually have some quality ponies for sale. Here are some of the services we offer. (Note: unfortunately, we cannot stand your stallions at stud for live breeding yet, but we may be able to offer this service in the future)
Live Breeding - Stud Fee + $150 for mare care during the fortnight she is with us.
AI Breeding - Stud Fee + no extra cost
Brood Fee - Most of our mares are up for brood at a price. We occasionally use mares for brood, so if you see a mare you like, please e-mail me and I will let you know if that is possible.
Mare Care - We look after your mare for the three months she is in foal. The mare has expert 24-hour supervision while she is pregnant and you have the peace of mind that your mare is in the best place with the best people when she foals. Frozen Semen - We will take your stallions semen artificially and freeze it then give it to you whenever you require it for your mares or someone elses mares. This is the safest way to breed, especially if your stallion or intended mare may be vicious. This can also save a lot in mare care and transportation costs and you don't have to take your stallion out of competition or risk injuring him. AI - the economical way to breed. Cost - $500 (unlimited times used)
Embryo Transfer - This is a good thing to do if you have a prize competition mare who you want a foal from, but can't afford to let her have 3 months out of work. We take an embryo from your mare and frozen semen from your choice of stallion and put the fertalised embryo into a 'carrier's' womb. There it fully develops and while it is the other mare's foal, it is your mare's bloodlines. Cost - $1500 (your carrier mare) $5000 (our carrier mare, including full boarding here)
