Super Mist is a stallion I bought from Riki in February 2000. When I first saw this pony, my initial reaction was wow. He was a muscular stallion, just returning to work after a small injury. His shiny voat was black with only a few pale grey speckles betrayng his age. He had 4 slightly irregular stockings and a slightly clumsy, but friendly look. He was a proven sire and had already had at least 4 great foals. I bought him almost instantly and have never regretted it.
Mist's greatest acheivment is his siring capability. I have seen 3 of his foals and they are all great. Black Jack (his first foal) has his father's quick mind and it looks like he will make it big in harness. Glider has smooth gaits and has his father's loyal and willing temperament which has made him very easy to train. Lost Love is slightly more independant than his brothers and sisters and although he is willing, can be a little head stronmg sometimes. Basically, Super Mist is a great sire. He has also proved himself in the show ring and frequently has stolen the show in halter classes. At home, Mist is a very calm stallion. He may get slightly bolshy and headstrong on a bad day, but most of the time, he is very willing. He has now fully recovered from his injury and has been doing some steady training at home. I will probably begin showing him again at the end of March when he is fit. He is a gentleman in the stable, but can get impatient if he feels that you are going too slow. Basically, I love this stallion and his foals to bits *LoL*. |
