From the moment we met demon, we knew we had found a superstar - he waltzed into the yard with his head high, lifting his feet, prancing and whinnying at the top of his voice to announce his arrival. He just wanted to make sure everyone was looking at him and knew that something special had arrived. Demon really is a show-ring stunner, his coat naturally shines with health and vitality and he is bursting with character and life. He has a really thick long mane and tail which are absolutely amazing and he is one of the most spectacular ponies when he is in a show ring.
Demon is a lovely pony to ride and drive, with an impressive jump. But when he is in a show ring, he really comes to life. He loves to show off, and he bounces around the show ring infront of any judges (and mares) who are watching. He has a really smooth, long, low action and tons of style. He is also expecting the first foal sired by him in early August. As he has a long, low action, he is the perfect cross with larger breeds such as arabs and thoroughbreds. At home, Demon is a flirt - he will chase after any mare he sees (but he prefers it if they don't run). He will bound around the stable yard like he owns the place, and he will do anything for a mare. His ambition is to have a long queue of mares lining up when he is rich and famous. Gelding him would break his heart just as much as stopping him showing, he really loves his mares and when he's bigger, he wants to have his own herd one day and run wild on the moors where he came from. |
